MICROWAVE STEAMER INSTRUCTIONS The steamer has an adjustable vented lid which is ideal for vegetables, seafood and chicken. It is also dishwasher safe and designed for table service. Instructions for use: The steamer has three layers; the adjustable vented lid, the steaming tray and the steamer base. Place the prepared food (eg. vegetables) into the steaming tray, making sure the food is evenly distributed, and pour approximately 4-6 tablespoons of hot water (enough to cover the base) into the base. The specially designed steaming tray can now be positioned on top of the base. Replace the lid and remember to open the vents before cooking. Steam Seafood - 3-5 min Steam Vegetable - 2-5 min Steam Sweetcorn - 5-7 min Steam Chicken - 5-7 min Please note the cooking times above are a guide only and cooking times may vary depending on the power of your microwave oven and the amount of food being cooked. Care: Do not overcook food or use the product in the microwave oven without food in it. Do not use sharp utensils or abrasive scouring materials as they may damage the surface. Only wash with a dishcloth or place on the top rack of your dishwasher. Food with high quantities of fat, oil or sugar may cause discolouring.
